From San Marcos to Marble Falls to Burnett to Johnson City

December 7 – 9, 2023

The OWLs are gathering for another adventure – join the Older and Wiser Lutherans to visit the Texas Hill Country on December 7 – 9, 2023!

The first day will include possible visits to Wimberley, San Marcos Outlet Malls, Gruene, and New Braunfels with an overnight at the Hampton Inn in San Marcos and dinner at the Grist Mill in Gruene.

The next day’s adventures will begin with lunch at the Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls and checking into the Holiday Inn in Marble Falls, a visit to Torr NA Lochs Vineyard and Winery in Burnett, seeing “The City of Bethlehem” in downtown Burnett, and wind up in Johnson City to visit their “Lights Spectacular” light display, returning to the hotel in Marble Falls.

Saturday is an open date for further local explorations and then returning home that day.
