April 9 – May 14, 2024
9:30 – 10:30 a.m. – PLC Fellowship Hall
Join Pastor Rich McLeer for a 6-week Tuesday Morning Adult Bible Study starting April 9 as he leads the group in a study and discussion on Philippians wrongways.
It is a brief 6-week bible study using N.T. Wright’s “Philippians For Everyone.”
Before April 9, read Philippians through fast once or twice, note any questions.
April 9 – Intro and Chapter 4 to 3’s endish. Outline: hidden secret, celebrate the Lord, and citizens of heaven back of 3 to close.
April 16 – Chasing on to the finish, gaining the Messiah, warning against trusting in the flesh, and regarding Tim and Epafradotus, middle of 3 to middle of 2.
April 23 – Salvation worked out, mind of the messiah, unity in everything, and public gospel, middle of 2 to middle of 1.
April 30 – To live or to do, king proclaimed, Paul’s reasons for thanksgiving – final thoughts, middle of 1 to opening and overview again.
May 7 – Pastor is away, maybe meet and discuss vote for fall on 5/14.
May 14 – Field Trip, Final, and Breakfast – talk of many things.
We will resume with a Late Summer Study on 9/03/24, topic to be determined, details to follow, suggestions are still welcome, maybe connecting with worship as a theme – stay tuned!
