Jesse Tree Advent Devotions & Activities:

Bags are available of outside the Church office, or create you own bag with supplies below

Supplies Needed: 3/4 yard felt for tree; ; 4 – 8X11 pieces of felt for ornaments; Jesse tree ornament print out (below); 30- 3.5″ squares of contact paper; 30- small pieces of velcro; scissors; crayons or markers; 1-2 command strips

Jesus’ Family Tree – Family Advent Devotional Booklet available in church office

On online daily devotional can be found Here. (Note: symbols may be different)

Devotional Instructions:

Each day read the assigned devotional in the booklet or online

Place ornament for the day on your tree.

Take time each day to review previous ornaments as you go along.



Tree Instructions:

This step can be skipped by placing ornaments directly on family Christmas tree

1. Use large Green felt to cut out a large tree

2. Hang Tree in common area of home with Command Strip

Ornament Instructions:

These can be done daily, weekly or all at once.

1. Color each Ornament

2. Cut felt circles the size of the outer circle of the ornaments

3. Next cut out inner paper ornament pieces

4. Remove backing from contact paper

5. Place paper cut out face down in the center of sticky area

6. Next affix contact paper with cutout on to felt circle

7. Trim off extra contact paper

8. Attach small piece of Velcro to back of felt.
