Calling All Youth 7th to 12th Grade!

Ready to Get Out of the House?

Join Us At Youth Summer Hangout – Devotions and Activities!

July 12 – August 9, 2020 – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

If you’re ready to get out of the house and get reacquainted with all your church friends, join us for 3 Sundays this summer at Youth Summer Hangout.

We’ll share devotions and fun activities beginning by meeting around the Gaga Pit at 5:30 p.m. on July 12, July 26, and August 9, 2020 for devotions and some extra fun as noted below.

We will conclude our evening by attending the Outdoor Worship that begins at 7:30 in the area outside the Fellowship Hall.

Schedule:

July 12 – Devos, Tie Dye and water balloon games – Wear clothing that can get messy!

We will gather by the gaga ball pit for devotions and then tie-dye t-shirts and have some water balloon fun. T-shirt provided if you send Angela your size or bring your own. We will conclude our evening with Worship.

July 26 – Devos and Service Project – Plan worship

We will gather by the gaga ball pit for devotions and a service project then into the sanctuary to plan an upcoming worship service. We will conclude our evening with Worship.

August 9 – Tile and Plate Painting

We will gather by the gaga ball pit for devotions and then paint ceiling tiles and plates for those who have not yet had the chance to paint their own.

Hangout Guidelines and Expectations:

These guidelines are to keep everyone safe including our families at home. We ask that parents talk with their youth before arriving and encourage them to follow all guidelines provided.

  • We will honor God in all that we say and do.
  • We will respect each person and their personal views.
  • We will adhere to Social Distancing at all times.
  • We will wear masks to protect each other.
  • We will wash/sanitize our hands as needed.
  • We will eat before we arrive.
  • We will bring our own pre-filled water bottle and a towel.
  • We will clean up after ourselves before departing.

Parents are always welcome. We will conclude our evening each hangout by attending the Outdoor Worship Service held at 7:30 p.m. outside the Fellowship Hall. Parents are asked to bring elements for communion for their families.
