Advent is a season of waiting, expecting, and hoping – the word ADVENT comes from the Latin word adventus, which means COMING and is a time of preparing our hearts and homes for Christmas Joy.

On December 4, 2022, the ladies of PLC will gather to prepare for this most blessed of seasons by remembering the purpose of the season – a time to prepare our hearts and minds for Christmas.

All women of Peace Lutheran Church are invited and asked to bring family and friends.

We are looking for table hostesses – you can be a hostess of 1, 2, or 3!

Please contact Rhonda Raphael, Tammy Way, or Charlene Ellisor if you have questions or are interested in hosting a table.

This early evening gathering gives us a chance to see the beautifully decorated, candlelit tables, visit with other Christian women, hear an Advent message, and join in singing Advent and Christmas hymns.

Our special Guest Speaker with be the Rev. Dr. Tracey Breashears Schultz, Assistant to the Bishop.

A favorite Christmas dessert will be enjoyed by all at each table!
