Calling All Cooks!

Need To Sign Up for Fall Semester 2019-2020 Treehouse Meals!

The 1st semester at Texas A&M and Blinn is here – and that means it’s time to sign up to provide meals for the students meeting on Tuesdays at Canterbury House at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

These meals need to feed 40 to 45 students and include entree, salad, or dessert – and the entree needs to include a vegan variety.

Dates we have signed up for include:

  • September 3 (being provided by Two or More)
  • September 17
  • October 1
  • October 15
  • November 5
  • December 3

Need meal volunteers to help contribute to feeding our college students – we can help coordinate meals but need people to help cook and/or provide food!

Will use meal cards that tell you what, how much to prepare for each meal, and where to deliver all to help facilitate more individual involvement! Cards will be available to pick up August 25th in the Narthex.

If you want to coordinate a meal, please come by the table in the Narthex so you can pick your date!!

Treehouse is such a wonderful campus ministry and has grown amazingly these past few years. This is such a great opportunity to show the students how much we care about their spiritual needs and growth while they are away from home going to college.

Thanks for your support!

Note: Tammy Way is taking a break from organizing Treehouse Meals this semester to concentrate on family events needing her time and focus, so we also need someone to take charge of this for at least this Fall Semester.
