It’s Time For The Big Event 2021!
Come Help The Aggies With Our Outside Church Area!

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Big Event is returning in 2021 after last year, when it was cancelled due to COVID 19.
It is great to have the Texas A&M student volunteers helping with projects at Peace Lutheran Church and other projects all around the Bryan/College Station area again!
The Big Event 2021 is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2021 and here at Peace Lutheran, we are expecting 10 student volunteers to help with these outdoor projects:
- Mulch existing beds around the church grounds (top priority)
- Mulch the playground area (as time permits)
The student volunteers will arrive about 10:00 am and work on the projects to about noon when they will be served lunch, after which the students will wrap up their work shortly after lunch.
Congregation members are invited to help the students with these projects.
Here is general information for the member volunteers:
- We will only be working outdoors, encouraging appropriate social distancing and wearing masks.
- If you are interested in volunteering, please help as your time permits between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Lunch will be provided at noon.
- Please bring masks, work gloves, rakes, and shovels.
