Amber Network Brazos Valley is Presenting NetSmartz Training!

Online Safety Education for Kids and Families!

December 9, 2020 – 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. via Zoom

 

Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley will be holding NetSmartz training available to all parents/caregivers with Peace Lutheran Church.

This will be presented via Zoom on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Any and all parents, caregivers, or adult PLC members interested in participating are encouraged to sign up.

NetSmartz is an online safety education program from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that provides age-appropriate videos and activities to help teach children to be safer online and more aware of potential online risks in order to empower them to help prevent victimization by making safe choices both online and offline.

The curriculum for this session is being presented for Parents, Caregivers, Community Members and youth in the following age groups:

  • Teens (High School)
  • Tweens (Grades 6 to 8)
  • Elementary (Grades 3 to 5)
  • Elementary  (Grades K-2)

NetSmartz is a free multimedia internet safety presentation prepared for a specific audience that includes parents, caregivers, and communities as well as teens, tweens, and younger children.
